Species Info:

This lifeform is found in the eastern Pacific from California to Peru. This lifeform is marine and found only in salt water.

Laver or red algae (Porphyra perforata) can be found along the western coast of North America from Alaska south through Mexico.

There are several species in this group.  Many of these algae are edible with a high protein value.

Red Algae Group (Rhodophyta) contains about 3,000 species. This group is entirely  marine.

Protista kingdom (sometimes spelled as Protoctista) contains numerous phyla including unicellular animals and algae.
